About Us

Michigan Pagans is a non-religious organization dedicated to the rediscovery and revival of the mystery faith of the ancient peoples, and the incorporation of this ancient faith into modern 20th century America. It was founded in 1999 by Gordon Ireland for those who live in the State of Michigan and are interested in local and international events that effect the Michigan Pagans community. Michigan Pagans is made up of members of many different magical and spiritual systems and was founded because there is a need in our community for a community that catered to all. An important concept of Michigan Pagans was that it would not focus on serving a specific religious group, but rather would embrace all forms of worship and spirituality. Michigan Pagans members represent a variety of traditions, including (but not limited to) various traditions of Neo-Pagans, Wicca, Norse, Druidism, Shamanism and all pagan religions.

Since Michigan Pagans inception, the organization has grown by leaps and bounds. As our membership grows, our network expands, giving us the ability to provide more services to our community, the Earth and the State of Michigan.
